The penetration depth of different LDM-MED frequencies

Having three different frequencies of 10, 3 and 1 MHz, LDM-MED is able to penetrate into different layers of the skin from the epidermis to the fat and close to the bone.
The ability to penetrate the epidermis layer with a frequency of ten megahertz, as well as the ability to mix audio frequencies in both the superficial and deep layers of the skin, are two unique features of this device.
LDM technology converts ultrasound waves with different frequencies into a powerful and effective LDM wave that oscillates between both frequencies 500 to 1,000 times per second.
When LDM technology is used, the absolute pressure remains constant and the dynamic pressure fluctuates linearly with the change of frequency, which causes the effect of ultrasound massage.

Advancement of Technology

LDM-MED Device Sonotrodes
- The LDM_MED device has sonotrodes of different sizes, which are very easy to use due to their light weight and advanced design.
- Sonotrodes are very safe for the operator.
- The sonotrodes are made of high quality titanium, so it does not cause sensitivity on the skin or the wound area.
- If the sonotrodes are not completely connected to the skin, they prevent the transmission of ultrasound waves and inform the operator for treatment by creating audio and optical alarms.
- Sonotrodes prevent the transmission of ultrasound waves in the absence of sufficient ultrasound gel and inform the operator for treatment by creating audio and optical alarms.
- The 5 cm square sonotrode of the device has two frequencies of 10 MHz, 3 MHz and also LDM3/10.
- The 10 cm square sonotrode has two frequencies: 3 MHz, 1 MHz and LDM3/1.
Effects of Ultrasound on the Skin
In general, ultrasound has three thermal, mechanical and biochemical effects on the skin. Ultrasound energy may be converted into thermal energy by absorption of ultrasonic waves in the tissue. The distribution of ultrasound energy depends on the intensity and frequency of the ultrasound.
Thermal energy can lead to blood circulation and metabolic activity. Ultrasound waves exert a powerful mechanical effect on the biological structure. This effect is due to the rapid change in pressure in the tissue. This process may accelerate the tissue diffusion process by stimulating metabolism and increasing membrane permeability.
This type of micromassage can activate fibroblasts, which causes sufficient improvement in the skin structure and increases tissue elasticity and connective tissue tightening.
Ultrasound energy also causes chemical changes in tissue. Among these, the most important effects are: changes in collagen tissue, gel-sol transfer in the extracellular matrix and changes in skin pH.
In the LDMMED device, we can have the desired effect on the desired texture by adjusting the mode.
